I suffer pretty badly from seasonal affective disorder, or “S.A.D.”. Winters in Maine mean that the sun sets early, as early as 4:00 PM at the worst, and that overall lack of daylight really kills my energy levels, leaving me lethargic, grumpy, and tired by 5:00. It sucks, so I do my best to be as productive as possible during the day.
This morning, something occured to me: the Apple Watch has a sunset/rise complication, could it be useful for planning my day to know how much daylight I have left, and the (ever-changing) time of sundown?
I’m not honestly sure if having an exact countdown to sunset on my wrist at all times will help my S.A.D., worsen my anxiety, or do both. 🤷🏻♂️
I guess we’ll find out.
